In December 2020, Incomm expanded its partnership with Longo’s, a traditional grocery retailer, to provide gift cards via Grocery Gateway, grocery delivery service, in Ontario, Canada.In the same month, Incomm partnered with DraftKings, a digital sports entertainment and gaming provider, to offer retail gift card across InComm Payments’ retail partner locations in the US.
Moreover, in December 2020, the company collaborated with Apple to launch App Store Cards at over 9,500 stores including 7-Eleven and FamilyMart in Taiwan. The company entered Taiwan in 2013 and has been market leader in point-of-sale activation (POSA) technology ever since.
In the same month, the company engaged with VanillaGift.com to offer custom gift card options and integrate Vanilla Visa Gift Cards into mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay for contactless payment. This way the company is promoting contactless redemption of gift cards which would be beneficial for customers in light of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier in November 2020, the company acquired Todo Cartoes, a closed-loop gift card processor in Brazil, to improve its presence in the country which would enable it to process and distribute closed-loop gift cards.
