France has been slow towards mobile payment adoption as compared to other European markets. Though mobile phones are being actively used for online shopping, mobile payments are not very popular among consumers. Travel related bookings and reservations are most common form of mobile purchases in France. Furthermore, only 16% digital buyers use mobile payment for in store purchases.
Reaching out to mobile consumers in France has been challenging for every player. Addition of loyalty program is a smart approach towards attracting consumers towards this system. Through this loyalty program retailers will be able to reach out to the consumers which will benefit in terms of consumer base and revenue generation.
