Dutch banks ABN AMRO, ASN Bank, ING, Rabobank, Regiobank and SNS are supporting the launch of ING’s new all-in-one app, Payconiq, in the Netherlands in Summer of 2017.

The proposed launch of the new mobile payment app follows a successful pilot and introduction in Leuven, Belgium, where it was supported by financial institutions ING, KBC and Belfius. First launched by ING Group in April 2015, the new app allows users to make payments online, in-store, peer-to-peer and internationally by making a direct connection with the customer’s payment account at one of the participating banks.

Strategically, the company is focusing on launching the all-in-one app in other European countries in the near future as its initiative responds to the digital revolution and changing regulations in the European payments market.
